Lourents van der Steenstraten is a Consultant at MTBS and has multiple years of experience in the financial industry, one of which spent specialising in the maritime sector. Prior to joining MTBS in 2020, Lourents worked for Macquarie Group and Gain.pro.

In his current role, Lourents specialises in port M&A transactions, as well as independent valuations and other projects.

Lourents holds an MSc degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Furthermore, Lourents is an aspiring CFA charterholder, having passed Level I.
